WHO
Sauble Christian Fellowship has the opportunity to raise funds within our church community, and the broader community in Grey-Bruce to support church space upgrades in Canada (HERE) and Cuba (THERE) this year as part of our annual Thanksgiving campaign.
WHAT & WHERE
Based on assessments by the SCF Property Team, there is roughly $20,000 (twenty-thousand dollars) in upgrades for our In-Person sound system that need to happen. Along with some audio fixes for a better live mix for our Online attendees (EVERYWHERE). Most of the labour will be done using volunteers.
Based on assessments sent from the two Cuban BIC Churches, upgrading the rooftop space in Palmira to allow for overflow attendance will cost roughly $5,400 USD and to build a new structure behind the home of the Pastor in Espartaco will cost roughly $4,700 USD. Our goal is to raise $15,000 (fifteen thousand) Canadian dollars to split between both communities.
HERE THERE AND EVERYWHERE (HTE) adds to a
combined total goal of $35-thousand dollars.
These upgrades will improve (and perhaps even make less noticeable) sound differentiations we experience in our meeting space. While we are fortunate enough to make upgrades, we have sisters and brothers in Cuban BIC churches who need support to build and/or repair meeting spaces for their larger gatherings.
